Here are brief descriptions of some of the services we offer:

Deep Tissue Massage

This style of massage can be done full body or in specified areas of the body. It is a deeper pressure than most massage and can be very helpful in breaking up tension or stuck areas in the body. It is very beneficial for repetitive stress or chronic injuries. Communication during these treatments is important so that work is not done too deeply and any bruising can be avoided. This style can cause extra soreness in the couple days following the treatment so extra water is recommended to reduce that soreness.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is generally done full body. It is a type of relaxation massage that is done with very slow flowing strokes to reduce the body's all over stress and increase circulation throughout the body. Lotions or oils are used as well. The benefits from this style of massage cover many things including improved circulation, mental clarity, decreased stress, decreased pain, and improved sleep for the next few nights following the massage.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage, also known as pregnancy massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Prenatal massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Pre-event massages will involve more invigorating techniques to prepare the muscles while Post-event massages will involve more restorative techniques to help with muscle soreness and fatigue.

Thai Massage (Specialty offered by Amilina Inthavong)

Thai massage, known as Nuad Bo Rarn or “ancient massage” in Thai, is a unique massage modality that has only been available in the United States for about fifteen years. However, its rich history in Thailand stretches back over 2,000 years. In a traditional Thai massage, the client lies on a mat on the floor, while the therapist uses his or her knees, feet, elbows, and hands to create compression and stretching. Some say receiving a Thai massage is like going to a massage therapist, chiropractor, and yoga class all in one.

Reflexology (Specialty offered by Karley Davis and Tamara Duarte)

Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet (or the hands). Reflexology is generally relaxing and may help alleviate stress. The theory behind reflexology is that areas of the foot correspond to organs and systems of the body.

Ashiatsu Massage (Specialty offered by Sara Fitzgerald)

In the Japenese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Ashiatsu therapy is a unique barefoot massage technique where the massage therapist uses their feet to provide deep compression, gliding strokes, and assisted stretches. In this treatment, the therapist stands on the table while holding onto bars over their head for support and stability.

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy can be added to any massage. You can choose from any style of massage I practice and then you will get the choice of one of the many essential oils I have. I also will give you scents to choose from based of what needs you are wanting from the massage i.e. relaxation, decreasing muscle spasms, decreasing insomnia, decreasing pain, etc.
